Cheryl Bate
Is a Canadian born kiwi who has lived in New Zealand for over twenty years with her husband and three daughters. She brings a wealth of experience working in the home healthcare area both in Canada and New Zealand.
She has worked with sensitive claims clients in New Zealand and brings her nurturing, empathetic and compassionate nature to the role.
She brings out her creative side by sewing, knitting, and writing books.
Cheryl has always been passionate about helping others and really enjoys meeting new people. She is excited for this role with the Deafblind Association, and is thrilled to be able to contribute in any way to our ever-growing community.
