Deafblind Association New Zealand

Peer Support

Be Seen, Be Heard, Be Connected. One of the main ways we achieve this is through our Peer Support Groups. Peer Support Groups give people who live with deafblindness the opportunity to come together, meet others, share experiences and simply enjoy each other’s company. Deafblind Association can support with transport, venues and communication. What happens in each group is up to the local group. It could be a quiet catch-up, a speaker on a topic of interest such as audiology, or a supported visit to a local venue.

To find out more about our Peer Support Group(s), please contact us. If you are interested in a Peer group in your area, and we do not currently have one we would love to hear from you.
